A snail, or a Helix aspersa, this model was a bit of a challenge for me, this was my 4th sculpt i think maybe the fifth but thats beside the point, the sculpting was somewhat easy except the shell i had to use a 3d scan for reference so i could get that natural shape to it, for textures thats what took longest, honestly it looked really crappy at the start but with time it started to come together, i also learnt how to use anchor points in substance painter which i haven't been using but know of, the snail skin is a blurred cell texture with multiple color variations and another darker varient for the other skin spots behind the tail, this was my 2nd attempt at a organic type model that has skin and a wood type texture for the shell, no premade assets used and it has 4k textures, is rigged also
